Our Mission
JCC Rockland is dedicated to the enrichment and continuity of Jewish life and to the preservation and celebration of our rich heritage. The center shall strengthen individual awareness and connection to the Jewish community, the state of Israel, and the community at large through recreational, physical, educational, social, and cultural programs.

JCC Cares is our initiative to bring the Jewish value of tikkun olam into the everyday lives of the members and staff at JCC Rockland. Tikkun olam is a Jewish concept defined by acts of kindness to help repair the world. Each month, JCC Cares will have a program dedicated to helping our community through social action.
Throughout the month of May, we are partnering with Montefiore Nyack Hospital. We will be collecting essential items to fill their Patient Closet, which provides patients with the necessary comforts during their stay and as they transition to their next level of care. All items must be BRAND NEW, and all sizes are needed.
