The Greatest Hits show is a sketch comedy experience in which everything is adapted from an original story written by a child. There is live music, puppetry, and a cast full of the funniest improv and sketch comedians in New York.

The show has been called “Monty Python meets Schoolhouse Rock.” While it sometimes includes pirates, there’s really no limitation to its scope — princesses, monsters, giant bugs, vampires...anything a kid could possibly dream up.

Tzipi Livni, one of Israel's most prominent and influential political figures, served as an officer in the IDF and later in the Mossad, before she, along with other prominent figures in Israel, formed the Kadima Party in 2005. In 2006 she was appointed Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and with the establishment of the Netanyahu government, she became leader of the Kadima Party and head of the opposition.

Elaine Stritch’s legendary career began as Ethel Merman’s standby in Call Me Madam. Her Broadway and West End credits include such shows as Bus Stop, Goldilocks, Sail Away, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Small Craft Warnings, Company, A Delicate Balance and Showboat. Ms. Stritch received a 2007 Emmy Award for her recurring guest role on NBC’s 30 Rock. She won a Tony Award, two Drama Desk Awards as well as a 2004 Emmy Award for the Broadway production of Elaine Stritch At Liberty. In 2005, Elaine made her New York cabaret debut at The Café Carlyle where she performs regularly. This year, in celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s 80th birthday, debuted Elaine Stritch: Singin’ Sondheim...One Song at a Time. Ms. Stritch will hit Broadway again in the revival of Sondheim’s A Little Night Music.

SHORT FILM CONTEST
for aspiring student filmmakers
Enter your film into JCC Rockland’s first SHORT FILM COMPETITION.

This film competition will be part of the JCC’s 8th Annual Film Festival to be held March 24 through April 10, 2011.
Enter for your chance to win awards and have your film shown at the festival.

Entries may be from any genre (documentary, narrative, animation, drama, claymation, comedy, etc.). This contest is for middle and high school, college and graduate students, and is open to the entire community. One entry per filmmaker.

Entries will be accepted from December 1, 2010 to January 31, 2011.
